July Featured Producer
The journey in creating Giornata started with a dream to create wines from Italian grapes grown in California, employing the sensibility and philosophy of Italian winemaking. They work with the same grape vines (clonal material) as the best producers in Italy, as the Central Coast of California possesses many of the attributes of the top Italian wine-growing regions. Traveling to Italy on a regular basis, Giornata founders continue to receive feedback on our efforts while researching Italian winemaking and viticultural methods.

Cause of the Season
One of the core values of The Vine Shop is to support and give back to our wonderful community.
5% of our Featured Producer wine sales will be donated each season too a cause close to our hearts.
Spare Key’s mission is to provide assistance to families with a critically ill or seriously injured family member. No matter the illness, no matter the injury, no matter the income. THEY help families “Bounce and Not Break” through THEIR Help Me Bounce platform, harnessing the power of crowdfunding to connect thousands of families directly to donors.
